Lincoln University is New Zealand's only specialist land-based
university focusing on providing tertiary education for all
land-based disciplines across the supply chain. One of
eight universities throughout New Zealand, Lincoln is uniquely
placed to support the educational and workforces requirements of
New Zealand's rural and land-based economies.
The Project Office's relationship with Lincoln University is
relatively young but is growing based on a shared commitment to
meeting the University's teaching and learning vision for its
students and staff.
Lincoln University identified a need to build a new commercial
kitchen and student dining facility. They needed to deliver
their new facility while continuing to service their
students. The Project Office team worked with the
University's team to come up with solutions for both the new
facility and to ensure continuity of catering facilities during
development. The facility is due for completion in 2014.
Since the Earthquakes, the team reviewed the project and
identified the need to rebuild the Dining Hall - the project has
been completed in February 2014.
